Project gem recruits volunteers to run arts projects and English classes.

Anyone can volunteer - all they need is a valid TEFL qualification, or a relevant arts qualification, a sense of adventure and the ability to commit to at least 3 months to teaching. Project gem particularly welcomes proposals for imaginative arts projects that help teach English in a creative way.

Volunteers are expected to teach for a minimum amount of classes per week following a set curriculum. Project gem helps find suitable accommodation and will subsidise any costs where possible.
